JANUARY WALK

We were snowed out last month, so let’s try this walk again on Sunday, January 23 at 2pm. Our walk will meander through NE Portland, along Alameda Ridge, down into Grant Park and back through Irvington. Along the way we’ll see a mansion purportedly owned by a former First Congregational music director, the Beverly Cleary Sculpture Garden and renovated Grant High School. This walk will cover about 3 miles on city sidewalks. We’ll go down and up the Alameda Ridge hill. We’ll walk, rain or shine (but possibly not snow). Meet walk leaders, Frank and Margaret Baldwin at Junior’s Coffee inside Guilder Restaurant, 2393 NE Fremont. Free on-street parking and public transit (#24) available.
