Bienvenidos Quilts

This week Bienvenidos Quilts sent 76 quilts to Tucson and Green Valley for shelters there.  In spite of the triple digit temperatures, quilts are needed for exhausted people who come into air-conditioned shelters, and they need the quilts for further travel via plane, train, or bus.

We’re finding that shipping quilts costs us about $4 per quilt.  Fortunately we were able to pay $300 this week because of the funds raised ($1300) from the quilts that Pete Levins donated.  We hope you will keep Bienvenidos Quilts in your heart, and keep your pocketbook open for donations as you are able.

Did you know that Bienvenidos Quilts has established a library of quilting and knitting books?  You will find them in the ArtReach Library.
