Nan Wagner’s nephew, Nelson Clarke, is a member of Team Rubicon at Fort Pickett in Virginia and is a volunteer and coordinator at an Afghan refugee camp.  They are requesting donations of goods and have created a Wishlist on Amazon for the most needed items.  They especially need S/M women’s long sleeve, loose fitting garments and size 28-32 men’s.  You’ll find those in the Wishlist.  The Wishlist should lead you to a “hidden” shipping address for privacy.  If you cannot see how to send please contact Nan at nannwagner@gmail.com

Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/IRAWRRQE3EEW?ref_=wl_share

If you have been wondering how you can help, please consider contributing to this very worthy cause that directly benefits Afghan Refugees.

Many many thanks!  Nan Wagner

Team Rubicon (TR) is a volunteer disaster response organization.  We are veteran oriented; the group was founded by veterans, and we rely heavily on the experiences and skill sets of veteran members to dive into disaster affected regions.  That said, we are not veteran exclusive, on this operation we're probably 30% civilians.  This response is definitely different from the usual for TR, but our team is highly adaptive, experienced in crisis situations, and willing to dive into the suck to get things done.
