Ready for some FUN? Join us Converging Paths

Converging Paths is an experimental online gathering that will explore the subject of our next Sunday morning worship series, Life Beyond the Pandemic: Envisioning a Brighter Future for Ourselves and Our Community, only from an entirely different angle. Hosted by Dr. Elnes, each 30 minute gathering will feature engaging interviews, music, and other fun tidbits curated from around the internet. Guests will range from church members and other Portlanders to a peace activist from Belfast, Ireland (The peace activist will be our first guest, actually!). You’ll want to catch the gathering live on Zoom or Facebook Live, or shortly thereafter, because the video will only remain posted on our YouTube channel until the following Wednesday. After that, little faeries will take it away to a secret forest grove where no humans can enter!

Immediately following the video cast, two of the small groups will be gathering that are following Matthew Fox’s book, Julian of Norwich: Wisdom in a Time of Pandemic - and Beyond. So you can make the evening a “Two-fer!” if you like! Two other small groups will be Wednesday nights at 5:30 pm starting Feb 10th (using Sunday worship reflection as a springboard for discussion) and Thursday afternoons at 1 pm starting Feb 11th (again following Matthew Fox’s book, Julian of Norwich: Wisdom in a Time of Pandemic - and Beyond.) To sign up for any of the groups please email the group leader for each group. There are still spaces available in all of the groups.
