A Letter from our Treasurer

As treasurer and chair of the Financial Oversight Committee (FOC), I will be providing regular monthly updates on the church’s financial status. My first such report is included HERE, and future ones will be published after Council has received them. This report summarizes the church’s income and expenses through November 2022. A yearend report will be available for the annual meeting at the end of the month.

The church remains in good financial condition. While our income is below our budget estimate for the year, our expenses are also lower than budgeted. Consequently, it will not be necessary to draw funds from our investments to cover 2022 expenses.

Generally, I find it helpful to review the fourth and fifth columns to compare our Jan-Nov experience with our YTD budget. Because this is an abbreviated report, however, if you’re interested in more detail than included here, please let me know by email (babishopdx@me.com).
