Called to Care

The Called to Care Team visits homebound members on a regular basis. The focus is on the homebound individuals who have given so much of their time, talent and resources to the church and who would like to maintain a meaningful connection to the church. The role of the team member is to "be present," to listen openly and compassionately, and to offer a personal connection to the church. Members of the team complete UCC training by our minister, and then participate in a background check and are officially installed by the congregation. The team meets quarterly to learn from each other's experiences and to deepen their relationships with each other and the church. The team is advised and supported by the Rev. Sara Rosenau.
